Introducing the Centennial Giving Societies
In 1926, Bennett College made the historic decision to become a college dedicated to educating and empowering women, a choice that has shaped leaders and strengthened communities for nearly a century. As Bennett celebrates its Centennial as a historically Black women’s college, we invite alumnae, friends, and partners to help launch the next century of impact.
To commemorate its bold commitment to women’s education, Bennett College has established the Centennial Giving Societies. Building on the annual 1926 Society, five additional giving societies recognize the cumulative generosity of dedicated donors for gifts made since July 2025, the launch of the Centennial Campaign.
Bennett College’s 2026 Day of Giving is April 7. We invite you to join the Centennial Giving Societies and help secure Bennett’s next 100 years.

Pearl Society:
$25,000 – $99,999
Magnolia Society:

More About The 1926 Society
Induction into the 1926 Society is based on annual giving of $1,926-$4,999. All other societies recognize cumulative giving, calculated from gifts made on or after July 1, 2025.

How to Join the Centennial Giving Societies
Automatic Enrollment
1926 Society: Donors who contribute $1,926-$4,999 annually are automatically enrolled.
All Other Societies: Donors contributing $5,000+ beginning July 2025 are enrolled based on cumulative giving.

Organize a Centennial Giving Circle
A Centennial Giving Circle brings individuals together to collectively give $5,000 or more, earning recognition in the Magnolia Society or higher.
Giving circles are ideal for classes, alumnae groups, and organizations to make a lasting impact while celebrating Bennett’s Centennial.
Each member receives a commemorative Centennial Circle pin recognizing their shared contribution.
